About M-code codes
M-codes (“Mehrausstattung”) are the classic Porsche factory option numbers printed on the build sheet, window sticker and the option sticker in the service book or front trunk. On a 986 you will usually find M666 on the option sticker in the service/maintenance booklet, the front-trunk data label, or the original window sticker (Monroney label in the US).
Confidence “medium”: one solid public source; plausible but not double-checked. Option meanings can differ between markets and model years.
